Henna for Birthdays and Sweet 16's

Henna is the perfect addition for a birthday party. Something different, a little exotic...
We provided henna for this group of girls at a 16th birthday party. Though not all the guests knew about henna when we arrived, by the end of the evening they were all sporting flirty floral patterns on their hands.

The girls poured over the design books and one by one chose a pattern. As the henna was applied, they all gathered around to watch and compare designs. I took the opportunity to tell a few Indian folk stories and gave an impromptu lesson on the history of henna. They loved it!

The paste was applied in the evening and once it was dry to the touch I wrapped their hands up in medical tape. The girls left the paste and tape wrap on overnight and were rewarded for their patience with these beautifully colored stains the next day.

The sweetest, pinkest, sixteenth birthday bash ever for these girls

A beautiful white canopy filled with pink and silver balloons and lit up with fairy lights sheltered the girls while they balanced on the mechanical surfboard and tried to wrangle a mechanical bull. Music, dancing, a virgin daiquiri bar and custom henna body art finished off the evening.

Have jeans, need henna! Girls were jumping back in line as soon as they had finished getting their first, second, or even third henna pattern.

We provided custom henna'ed belly embellishments for 75 girls.

The Henna Caravan ladies are working hard to keep up with the 75 spunky teenage girls.
